I’ve spent almost 50 years of my life seeing the world through the lens of my camera, some as a professional photographer, others as a fascinated, serious amateur. For most of those years I thought film could not be surpassed as a photographic medium, but technological developments in the digital world have proved me wrong. In truth, the advent of digital photography has re-energized and inspired me to strive for more in my work, including the unconventional. I draw inspiration from the natural world, focusing my lens predominantly on landscapes and wildlife sometimes from a different perspective.
For me, photography is all about fine art, but I do very little digital manipulation to achieve it. Nature in its natural state is art enough, if we only have the vision to see it. When you look at my work you’ll see natural abstracts as well as unusual but more traditionally-framed scenes.
Hopefully something in my gallery will capture your imagination the way it did mine.
